The following is a copy of the record written in the Family Bible of Joseph A. and Sarah L. Jones of near Medford, Burlington County, N.J. The book has nothing written on the fly leaf showing its original ownership, and in 1933 is in the possession of the oldest son J. Aquila Jones of Mount Holly, N.J. The record was written in a clear script, with good ink, most of it evidently by a woman, probably by Sarah L. Ballinger herself since after her death other records are in a different hand.
