The following Bible record was copied Sept. 11, 1953 from the Family Bible of Joseph and Hannah D. Engle of Mount Holly, N.J. The book bears the printers name on the title page Wilt & Yost, 805 Market Street, Philadelphia, 1857. This Bible is in the possession of Joseph and Hannah D. Engle both advanced in life beyond eighty years residing at No. 114 Garden Street, Mount Holly.

Hannah D. Engle, now blind told me there was a loose sheet containing other data, but I did not see it in the Bible. Four of her children died in infancy, Benjamin Franklin Engle who lived 6 months; Jervis Stokes Engle who lived 6 months; Elizabeth (Bessie) Verona Engle who lived 9 months; and Marianna Wills Engle who lived but two days.
